Sprite Cranberry is a lemon-lime and cranberry flavored variation of Sprite. It was introduced in 2013 as a limited edition flavor for the holiday season along with Sprite Cranberry Zero, to rival PepsiCo's Mist Twist Cranberry Splash. The flavor is sold only during the holiday season. In 2017, famous basketball player, LeBron James, was featured in a commercial with an animated version of himself holding a can of the drink saying “Wanna Sprite Cranberry?”. The quote later became popular with memes in late 2018. In September 2019, another version of Sprite Cranberry was released as a limited edition called “Winter Spiced Cranberry”.
